Terms of Service
The rules for using our website and software.
1. Who these terms cover
These terms apply to your use of this website and of the The Creator Toolbox desktop software and related tools (the “Software”) sold by Media in Multiplatform (“we”, “us”). By buying, downloading or using the Software you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Our broadcast consulting, integration and reseller work under the Media in Multiplatform name is done under separate written agreements. It is not sold through our online store and is not covered by these terms.
2. Payments and Lemon Squeezy
Our online store is run by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for your order. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment, collects any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms. We license the Software to you; Lemon Squeezy sells it to you.
If your plan is a subscription, it renews automatically at the interval shown at checkout until you cancel. You can cancel at any time using the “Manage subscription” link in your receipt email. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.
3. Your licence
When you pay, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software on the number of devices and for the period stated on the product page, for your own personal or business content creation. We keep all ownership of the Software. We may update, change or discontinue features over time.
4. What you may not do
- Resell, share, sublicense or publish the Software or your licence key.
- Copy, reverse engineer or extract the source code, except where the law gives you that right.
- Remove copyright or licence notices.
- Use the Software to break the law, infringe someone's rights, harass people or secretly record or surveil them.
5. Your content and your responsibility
The Software runs on your own computer. Your footage, comments, recordings and settings stay with you, and you own them. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you process, stream or publish with the Software, and for following copyright law and the rules of every platform you use, such as YouTube and Twitch.
No guarantees about platform outcomes. The Software helps you add analysis, production quality and commentary. We do not promise that any content will avoid takedowns, copyright claims, strikes, demonetisation or account action. Those decisions belong to the platforms and rights holders, and nothing here is legal advice.
6. Notes about specific tools
- Blury detects faces automatically. Detection can miss a face or object, so check your output before you go live. Do not rely on it as your only privacy safeguard.
- Signal, AI Match Analyst and other AI features produce automated summaries and commentary that can be wrong or incomplete. Review them before publishing or acting on them.
- Virtual Director makes automatic camera decisions. Keep a manual override ready during live shows.
- Signal reads publicly available comments. You must follow the terms of the platform the comments come from.
7. Early-access and prototype software
Some tools are labelled “Prototype”, “Beta” or “Early access”. They may contain bugs, change quickly and may lack features. The refund window in our Refund Policy still applies to them.
8. Third-party components
The Software may use open-source libraries and AI models that you install separately (for example through Ollama). Those are provided under their own licences, which you must follow.
9. Support
We provide support by email at luisrene@mediainmultiplatform.com and will make reasonable efforts to reply promptly. We do not guarantee any specific response time.
10. Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, the Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or that it will be error-free.
11. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of audience or account. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Software in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, or any consumer rights you have under the law where you live.
12. Ending your licence
You can stop using the Software at any time. We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by sharing your licence key. Sections that by their nature should continue (ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law) will continue after the licence ends.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the Software after an update, you accept the new terms. For material changes that affect an active subscription, we will give notice by email.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory rights you have under the law where you live.
