Privacy Policy
How we handle personal data on our website and for our software.
1. Who is responsible
Media in Multiplatform (“we”, “us”) is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us at luisrene@mediainmultiplatform.com.
2. What we collect and why
- Contact form. Your name, email address, the message you write and which option or tool you selected. We use it to reply to you.
- Purchases. When you buy, Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and collects your payment details, billing information and tax details itself. We do not see your card number. We receive order information from Lemon Squeezy, such as your name, email address, country, the product you bought, order status and licence key, so we can deliver the Software, provide support and handle refunds.
- Software use. The Software runs locally on your computer. We do not receive your footage, comments, recordings or analysis results. If the Software checks your licence, it contacts Lemon Squeezy's licensing service with your licence key and a device name.
- Website. Our website has no advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Your browser stores your language choice on your own device. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and operation.
3. Other services we use
- FormSubmit delivers contact-form messages to our email inbox.
- Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, payments, taxes, receipts, licence keys and refunds. It has its own privacy policy.
- YouTube videos on our pages load only after you click play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. After you click, YouTube may collect data under its own policy.
- Our website hosting provider and email provider process data on our behalf to keep the services running.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the services above, with advisers when needed, and where the law requires.
4. Legal basis (where GDPR applies)
We process your data to respond to your requests, to carry out and support your purchase (contract), to meet legal and tax obligations, and for our legitimate interests in keeping the site secure and preventing fraud and abuse.
5. How long we keep data
Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to answer you and for a reasonable period afterwards, normally no more than 24 months. Order and licence records are kept for as long as required for accounting, tax and legal reasons.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States and Mexico. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, object to its use, or receive a copy of it. Under Mexican law (LFPDPPP) you can exercise access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO) rights. Email luisrene@mediainmultiplatform.com and we will reply within a reasonable time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure. Please don't send passwords or sensitive information through the contact form.
9. Children
Our website and software are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
